AMD Ryzen 7 7800X and Ryzen 3 7300X Specs, Benchmarks Spotted On Geekbench With 10 Core and 4 Core CPUs - Full Report
AMD has released two new processors: the Ryzen 7 7800X and the Ryzen 3 7300X. Both have More cores and threads, but the 7800X has more than twice the core count. It has 20 total threads, allowing it to do much more than its predecessor. The 7800X also boasts twice the L3 cache, with twice the amount of L3 cache.
Both CPUs are very similar in specs and performance, but there are some differences between the two. The 7800X has a higher base clock speed, and the 7300X has a lower base clock. It also has a higher boost clock speed. Both are capable of running games and other applications.
AMD is expected to position the 7800X in the $400-$500 US price range, while the 7300X will start at under $200. The latter is expected to retain headroom for a 3D V-Cache processor. The company wants to entice existing customers to switch to the new AM5 platform and pay the extra for a higher-end processor.
AMD has not confirmed when these new processors will be available for the desktop market, but we do know that the Ryzen 7800X has 10 cores and 20 threads. It has 12% more performance than the AMD 7700X and up to 12% more than the Intel Core i5-13600K. The 7300X has a slightly lower score, scoring 1984 in single-core and 7682 points in multi-core tests. It is also faster than the Ryzen 5 5600X.
Both AMD Ryzen 3 7300X and Ryzen 7 7800X are dual-core CPUs with 4.5-GHz base clocks and up to 5.4-GHz boost clocks. They are equipped with 64 GB of DDR5 memory.
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X CPUs are available in a variety of configurations. You can find one to meet your needs and budget. AMD Ryzen 3 7300X is a popular choice in mid-range systems.
