Honor 80 series is expected to launch with the Honor 80 Pro+ and Honor 80
HONOR is expected to release a flagship-grade smartphone sometime this year. Rumors suggest the HONOR 80 Pro+ could feature a 200-megapixel camera and 100W charging. The device is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor and packed with 12GB of RAM.
The Honor 80 series is expected to launch with the Honor 80 Pro+ and Honor 80. The standard variant may come with a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC and a 64-megapixel main camera, while the Honor 80 Pro+ will likely feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC and a 200-megapixel main camera. Honor has not yet made an official announcement of these new smartphones, but they are expected to debut in China at the end of the year.
The Honor 80 Pro is expected to come in four colors: green, blue, and purple. It is expected to weigh 187 grams and sport a 6.72-inch screen. It will run Android v12 and come with a 1236 x 2676-pixel resolution. Its dimensions are expected to be 163.4 x 74.6 x 8.5 mm.
Honor also introduced its X6 in the UK today. The company has not confirmed a launch date, but it's expected to debut on December 1. The vanilla version shows a pill-shaped cutout in the camera module. In addition, the phone is expected to feature a quad-camera setup on its back. Among other details, the device is rumoured to pack a 4500 mAh battery and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC. The Snapdragon 870 processor would be a major upgrade over the Snapdragon 778G SoC found on the current model.
Honor has yet to announce the exact launch date of its new Honor 60 series, but it has listed the device on the 3C certification website. The model number is GIA-AN00 and is expected to come with 66W fast charging support. The Honor 60 SE and Honor 50 Pro models will also come with 66W fast charging support.
