Ola S1 Air Bit Lighter and More Affordable Electric Scooter

OLA S1 Air Electric Scooter has a similar design as the S1 Pro but is a bit lighter and more affordable

The new Ola S1 Air Electric Scooter is powered by a 2.5 kWh battery and has a range of 100 km. It has been priced at Rs. 79,999 (ex-showroom) and will increase to Rs. 84,999 after October 24. The scooter looks like an evolution of the S1 Pro, but is considerably more affordable. It has steel wheels instead of alloys and drum brakes instead of discs. It also features a single-piece rear grab handle.

The S1 Air Electric Scooter has a similar design as the S1 Pro and S1. It is a bit lighter than its petrol counterparts, and has a small, 2.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It also features a 7-inch touchscreen and three riding modes. The scooter can also be used by multiple people. It comes with a kerb weight of 99 kg, making it slightly heavier than a basic petrol scooter.

The S1 Air Electric Scooter is the third model in the S1 series from Ola Electric. It is the cheapest electric scooter in the lineup, and offers a smaller range than its siblings. It can reach speeds up to 85 kmph and has an average range of 101 km. It also supports Eco, Sport, and Reverse riding modes.

As a part of the launch, Ola also launched a Community Forum, a place where its customers can talk about their rides and share their experiences with others. This forum is also a place where customers can plan rides together with fellow Ola users. The company has also launched two new accessories for the S1 range: a centre-stand and a side footstep. These will be available for purchase from January 2023. The company also plans to launch more accessories in the future.

The S1 Air Electric Scooter has received a software update called MoveOS 3 that adds more than 20 new features. The new version adds features such as proximity unlock, party mode, Moods, and more. The update is also compatible with the Ola Hypercharger network, which allows riders to charge their scooters for up to 50 km in 15 minutes.

The company has over 300 service centres in India, and it aims to have 200 experience centres by the end of the year. In addition to India, the company plans to enter the Nepal and Latin American markets this year. While it's still early, the company is confident in the S1 Air Electric Scooter's growth prospects.
