Vivo recently held its first Tech Day in New Delhi and showcased a wide range of innovative smartphone features. The company demonstrated colour-changing technology, improved battery life and multi-SIM 5G connectivity. It also showcased its partnership with Zeiss optics and 5G cloud gaming with Reliance Jio. The company is also committed to understanding consumer pain points and making their products better for them.
Vivo has almost 4,000 patents related to 5G technology and has submitted over 8,000 proposals to 3GPP. The company has also been working on power efficiency solutions for 5G devices. It has developed a power-saving mode called Doze. It has also developed a new standard called Multi-SIM capability coordination that aims to address dual 5G SIM problems. Additionally, the company has introduced vapor cooling and PCBA 3D stacking technologies to keep their smartphones thin and power-efficient.
Several innovations were demonstrated during the Vivo Tech Day, including a color-changing back panel for the Vivo V23 series. This innovative technology utilizes photochromatic materials which change color when exposed to UV rays. This new feature is available in both a single-panel design as well as dual-colour changing ones.
The Vivo NEX phablet is another example of a phone featuring revolutionary innovations. It is a high-tech smartphone that features a large screen and a notch-free display. It shows that Vivo is serious about designing and manufacturing smartphones that are cutting-edge in design, technology, and innovation.
