Realme GT Neo 5 Specifications, Features, Price, Launch Date Tipped
The Realme GT Neo 5 is set to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. This is a refreshed version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip that was first launched in 2016. Developed using TSMC's 4nm fabrication process, it offers higher performance and less power consumption. The device will also boast a dual-camera setup with a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera. Moreover, there are also two cameras: an 8-megapixel OmniVision OV08D10 lens and a 2-megapixel OmniVision OV02B10 sensor.
The Realme GT Neo 5 will pack a 5,000mAh battery and 150W charging support. At the back, it will house a 16MP selfie camera and a 50-megapixel triple camera setup. It is expected to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi K60 in China. It may also be called OnePlus Ace 2 or OnePlus 11R outside of China. The phone is expected to run Android 13 out of the box.
Its specs are very similar to those of the OnePlus Ace 2 and Realme GT Neo 4. Moreover, a Chinese website called Digital Chat Station has leaked many specifications related to the device. As this post is a tipster, it's unclear which device these specifications belong to. However, users have speculated that they belong to the Realme GT Neo 4. Since the two devices are expected to have similar specs, the only difference between the two is the design.
Earlier, Realme GT Neo 4 rumours had already surfaced, and the phone is expected to sport a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 mobile computing platform. The phone was originally equipped with MediaTek's Diminsity 8100 CPU. With these new specs, the phone is slated to compete against the Xiaomi Redmi K60.
The phone is also expected to have a 5000mAh battery with fast charging support up to 150W. Furthermore, it's also expected to have a more versatile camera system. Its bloatware is a real drag, and Realme should spend more time fixing bugs.
The Realme GT Neo 5 is expected to be priced at Rs 30,492 in India. The device is expected to be available in Black, Silver, and Fantasy colours. It will also feature Android v12 operating system. Its screen resolution is expected to be 1080 x 2412 pixels. Its size is expected to be 163.3 mm by 75.6 mm.
Realme GT Neo 5 will be a 5G ready smartphone. It will feature an 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It's expected to pack a 64MP rear camera and two additional sensors. A 16MP front camera is also included. The phone's battery should last for over four hours.
