OnePlus Buds Pro 2 Will Be Announced on Jan 4 - Full Specs, Design, Features, Price
OnePlus has just announced the launch of a new pair of wireless earbuds. The upcoming OnePlus Buds Pro 2 is set to be released on January 4. According to the company's announcement, the new headphones will offer "true wireless sound quality masterpiece" for a price of around $330. Moreover, a charging case will extend the battery life of the buds from 10 to 38 hours.
While a lot of details are still missing, OnePlus has confirmed that the new earbuds will feature two different colors: Arbor Green and Obsidian Black. They are also rumored to feature adaptive noise cancellation, and will offer a total of 22 and 38 hours of battery life. This is compared to the original Buds Pro's 9-hour battery life.
In addition, the earbuds will have a coaxial design, featuring a pair of 11mm and 6mm driving units. This allows for dynamic tuning and adaptive noise cancellation. Aside from this, OnePlus has announced that the new model will feature a frequency response range of 10Hz-40KHz.
In terms of design, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will look similar to the original model. The upper half will have a matte finish, while the lower half will be bright. However, there will be a difference in the stem. The Buds Pro 2's stem will be bigger, and it will have an integrated microphone.
Despite the differences, OnePlus has said that the earbuds will be capable of delivering excellent stereo sound. Besides this, they will include wireless charging functionality. These headphones will also support Dolby Atmos, and have a frequency response range of 10Hz-40KHz. One more feature of these earbuds is that they can connect to two devices at the same time.
Besides the color and design, OnePlus has announced that the upcoming earbuds will offer adaptive noise cancellation, and will have a frequency response range of 10Hz-40KHz. Additionally, OnePlus has confirmed that the new models will support spatial audio technology. Another feature is that they will have a microphone cutout that is twice as large as the previous generation.
With the ANC feature enabled, the earbuds can last up to six hours. When ANC is disabled, OnePlus Buds Pro 2 will offer a total of nine hours of battery life. That's because ANC reduces wind noise, which means that the earbuds will last longer.
OnePlus will also release a pair of true wireless noise reduction earbuds later on. These earbuds will use SBC, Bluetooth 5.2, and will come in a color called Arbor Green. They will also feature a Pro Gamer mode that will reduce latency to 94 ms.
OnePlus has also announced that the upcoming earbuds are slated to launch in China on January 4, and in India on February 7. In addition to these two, OnePlus has also confirmed that the Buds Pro 2 will have a wireless charging case. It's also expected that the earbuds will be available in Armor Green, and the buds will be sold in the DYNAUDIO brand name.
